<The Feast> is a painting inspired by the image of squirrels enjoying a hearty meal on a cold winter day. Winter can be so cold, but there’s something about sharing a warm meal with loved ones indoors that makes everything feel so cozy and comforting. It’s the kind of warmth that makes you appreciate home even more. I wanted to capture that feeling of warmth and comfort through the use of rich colors, strong light, and shadows, creating an atmosphere that reflects the cozy feeling of being surrounded by warmth and love.
